I have the privilege of living in an area with lots of amazing birds so over the coming months, or years I'm going to photograph as many of them as possible and share the results with you. Incidentally I feel like this mission found me rather than me seeking it out so it feels very worthwhile.

Okay so my new camera arrived today! It's a Pentax K5 IIs. On the outside it looks almost identical to my K7 (a good thing) but on the inside it has some significant improvements. The key specs are listed below but possibly the most important feature is what is missing. The K5 IIs has no an Anti-Aliasing filter and that means sharper images. As primarily a nature/landscape photographer I'm really looking forward to producing some pin sharp landscapes. And I'll have some great opportunities in the coming weeks and months with trips to the country, Taronga Zoo and local waterfalls planned. So until next time happy snapping and thanks for wat
